THE EXPERIENCE STARTS AT THE FRONT DOOR

The Dorchester is a five-star luxury hotel on Park Lane and Deanery Street, London, to the east of Hyde Park and is one of the world’s most prestigious hotels. The now Grade 11 Listed Building opened in April 1931, and retains many of its 1930s– style furnishings and ambiance despite being modernised during this period.

With its reputation as one of the world’s most prestigious hotels, it is essential that all elements of the soft landscape are maintained to an exceptionally high standard at all times to reflect the status and standing of The Dorchester.

Whilst it is relatively modest in size, the gardens at the entrance to the hotel and the balcony troughs offer a vibrancy of colour and present a softening foil for the construction and hard landscape features which are proliferative in this location within Park Lane. As such they require close attention to the finer details to ensure they deliver the “wow” factor for guests as they arrive to be greeted at the foyer.

Our dedicated head gardener programmes his day around the hotel’s schedule, meaning every day can be different. Our aim is to minimise any impact through delivering an ‘invisible service’, but with a vibrant and memorable end product.

‘I just wanted to say that Luke Black, has gone above and beyond the call of duty today and is a real asset to Gavin Jones. It makes such a difference to have somebody that is passionate about what they do but also gets stuck in when needed. I really couldn’t have done without him today!’
